Meet indē

Inde was born out of a desire to combine technology with compassion to serve a greater good. Along the way, it’s revolutionizing an industry.

INDE’s story began when a couple of technology experts started thinking outside the box. With backgrounds primarily in the residential wireless market, they got an opportunity to put a conventional wireless system in an elderly care facility and they realized the amazing technology at their fingertips was not being used to its fullest extent. They knew that their expertise, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit could do more than just monitor rooms or facilities. It could change lives.

Through extensive consultations with elderly care facility staff and administrators as well as medical experts the INDE team realized that simply monitoring a patient’s activities was only addressing part of the challenge. The real value lies in the data – in establishing benchmarks and routines over time that are unparalleled indicators of possible health problems. There’s no replacement for daily collection of data, and there’s no better way to document trends than INDE.

Our Mission

At INDE, our mission is to create a new paradigm for elderly care by bringing affordable, cutting edge technology to Assisted Living Facilities to enhance the safety and health of the residents.

“With over 10,000 seniors turning 65 each day, care providers increasingly need to turn to new innovations and technologies to meet the ever growing needs of our elderly population. Enter INDE, the newest and most affordable system specifically designed to assist caregivers in enhancing the lives of assisted care residents.” -Scott Boruff, Chairman

    Chairman
Scott’s lifelong career as an entrepreneur began when his initial start-up company achieved over $5 million dollars in annual revenues within a year after launch. Upon successfully selling the company, Scott turned his focus towards commercial real estate development, where for over twenty years he successfully developed shopping centers, multifamily housing units, office complexes and golf course developments throughout the southeast. Looking to diversify funding sources, Scott entered the investment banking field as a director of Cresta Capital Strategies and co-owner and director of Dimirak Securities Corporation where he led transactions of up to $150 million in size while specializing in consulting, project funding and strategic planning with an emphasis on commercial real estate as well as the oil and gas industry. As CEO of Miller Energy Resources, Scott led the successful rise from a pink sheet company to listing on Nasdaq and ultimately the New York Stock Exchange with a market cap of over $400 million and an enterprise value of over $750 million. In less than five years Scott grew the company’s annual revenues to almost $100 million through a strategic expansion from a small footprint in the Appalachian Basin to major operations throughout the state of Alaska. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University and holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
